New Year's bash at Randlords 

End 2015 at a glamorous party on a rooftop deck, with one of the most spectacular views of Johannesburg. Vilakazi Street party

Soweto’s most famous street, Vilakazi Street, shuts down for this massive New Year’s street party. There are three stages with pumping dance, hip hop and soul performances throughout the day by artists such as Cassper Nyovest, Thebe, Thee Gobbs and Maggz.

Revolution of New Year open-air music festival 

Amid the green hills and valleys of the Magaliesberg, welcome in the start of the new year at this all-night trance and techno festival. There are two stages with 40 local and international psy-trance, techno, and drum and bass DJs playing through the weekend. Bring your own camping gear, sunblock, water and toiletries. There will also be a bar, hydration stations and a small number of food stalls on site.

New Year at Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton 

The Radisson Blu Hotel in Sandton is offering a special five-course New Year’s Eve meal with the option to stay the night at the hotel at the special rate of R1 200 for two people sharing.
